Information We Collect: We ask for contact information when you register, and this information will be kept confidential.  We do not share your personal information with any other parties other than what is necessary to process your subscriptions through our online credit card service (Verisign).  The only exception would be if you purchased our service from a 3rd party or through your employer as opposed to signing up directly through our website.  If you purchased access from anyone other than us, then the company you purchased it from will be able to administer your account themselves, giving them access to the information you provide to our website.

We log your access times, your IP address, and the queries you perform on our system, which we use for our own accounting and security, and to help us maximize the efficiency of our systems.

Cookies:  To make it fast and easy for you to use Payorid.com, this web site uses a cookie that remembers your member number - so you don't have to. This cookie is stored in your browser's cache on your hard drive and is automatically retrieved by our web application when you open our log-in page.

Changing and Updating Personal Information:  You can view and edit your personal information after you log in with your username and password.

Communications from our Site

Welcome Messages and Expiration Warnings
We send all new members a welcoming email to verify their password and username.  We may also contact you by phone or email to discuss how the PayorID.com service might best be utilized by your company.  There are many options available, including value-added services such as custom billing-code data mapping and enterprise-wide access.  Our web server sends one or two automatic emails to free trial users thanking them for evaluating our services and encouraging them to contact us with any suggestions as to how to improve our service.  We also send one warning message to notify all free trial users when their subscription is about to expire.

Service Announcements
On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement.  For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email.  Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications.  However, these communications are not promotional in nature.
